Book a One-to-One Filmmaker Surgery with the BFI NETWORK
 

BFI NETWORK offer short film production and early feature development funding to new writers, directors and producers based in the North with a creative track record: https://network.bfi.org.uk/film-hub-north. 

 

If you have a short film or an idea for a feature film you’d like to discuss or just want to find out more about what the BFI NETWORK does, then there’s an opportunity for you to book a free 30-minute 1-2-1 surgery with BFI NETWORK Talent Executive Amy O’Hara on Wednesday 21st October. 

Amy is particularly keen to hear from under represented voices working in the creative industries who are interested in film. The only requirements you need to be eligible for a surgery are:

• Based in the North of England         

• Haven’t had a feature film produced and distributed

• A creative track record. This could be student work, or something created at a grassroots/non-professional level, and it may be in film, television, theatre or another art form.

•  You need to be over 18 and not in full-time education

 
The booking system works on a first-come first-served basis, but don’t worry if you’re unable to book yourself onto a surgery this time around, there will be other opportunities across the region in the coming months. If you need to cancel your surgery for whatever reason, please contact bfinetwork@filmhubnorth.org.uk
