Chris Overton (Director of "Silent Child")
"What an incredible festival. It honestly felt like it has been running for years. Out of all the festivals I have been to this one was definitely up there as one of my favourites. They had their own unique touches which really made the festival special. It was amazing to see our film in front of such a big audience and on such a big screen, it was HUGE. This festival has so much heart and the festival organisers are super professional and really care about the filmmakers. There passion shines through. Oh and the awards are SO nice."
Keith Farrell (Director of "Rabbit Punch")
"I would highly recommend any film maker to enter the festival and enjoy the best festival in the North West of England."
Marnie Baxter (Director of "Bad Mother")
"A fantastic festival. A great mix of classy films from all different styles and genres alongside a load of varied and interesting industry talks. Really well organised and friendly as well, with lots of film makers attending, alongside a healthy local turnout which was great. Would highly recommend.
Kelly Holmes (Director of "Family Portrait")
Such a lovely, friendly festival in a great cinema. Huge space and screen. Met lots of lovely filmmakers and the festival director Adrian was absolutely lovely. Really great quality of work being shown as well. And we won an award!!! So amazing!
Katia Lom (Director of "Tryptych")
A real gem of a festival! Wonderful programme including talks by great industry guests. Supportive festival organisers and lots of opportunities to meet people. Could not recommend enough.
Marnie Paxton Harris (Script Superviser "Edith")
We had such a great time, brilliant cinema, very comfy hotel and awesome award as a massive bonus. The only downside was I had to hand the award over to the director on Saturday. Seriously though Paul & I are massively inspired to get an award of our own.
You have created a cracking festival and I hope we get to come again."
