The festival attracted 2700 submissions in 2021/22 from an online audience of over two million members (FilmFreeway).
We expect to see this rise to 4000 submissions in the next two years in line with other festivals of our age, stature and reputation. The most popular festival in the short film world (Sundance) attracts 12,000 submissions annually.
