Bolton has a limited number of centrally located hotels but some good choices on the outskirts of the town. We suggest you book early if it's important for you to stay in the centre. It's also worth considering nearby Manchester if you're having real difficulty finding accommodation in the town. It's only 20 mins by train to the city where there are a lot more choices on offer. Trains are frequent, very affordable and run late into the night. The other good option is AirBnB which has lots of price ranges and different types of accommodation in and around Bolton.
Food and drinks are very affordable in Bolton - it's a very cheap place to visit and you'll be surprised how much further your money will go when the visiting the festival.
